Genesi provides a complete system overview, including architecture and implementation documentation with a costed bill-of-materials, recommended & alternative suppliers, and part numbers with package type. Board manufacturing datasets including Gerber and PCBA data and full board and system test packages and procedures are defined. Genesi supplies design, manufacturing, and bringup support, as well as complete system software, including custom user interfaces. Fully documented sources and a recommended binary image are provided.

EFIKA MX6 Series

Genesi´s EFIKA MX6 is a low-cost six-layer board design based around the i.MX6 Quad-Core Cortex A9 (ARM) System-on-Chip from NXP. Additionally, the design includes board firmware and an optimized software bundle.

Genesi´s EFIKA MX53 design and software bundle also remains available. The Efika MX53 was designed to support the netbook market and was licensed for production in Latin America, Africa and Eastern Europe.

With its LVDS display output the Efika MX53 creates a solid foundation for consumer and embedded products, including netbooks, tablets, digital signage and energy monitoring solutions. When powered with a 4000mA battery while playing HD content at 1080p a battery life of more than ten hours can be achieved. The design is BOM and production cost optimized.
